Day 23: D-Day

Today was D-Day: Dumpster Day, that is! It has finally arrived!!!! Time to do some cleaning and cleansing.  We have been making piles of stuff to throw out so far.   One pile in the upstairs bedroom.  One large pile in the living room.  Three piles in the basement. And a few piles of stuff out side (some of which were there when we bought the house i.e. logs under the back porch).

I'm thinking about it a little more and probably should have had the dumpster put another 8 feet back closer to the porch but I was thinking of throwing trash and old OSB from the kitchen out the dining room window.  We've been trying to stay focused on interior, interior, interior since that's what we want to have mostly in order before we move in.  However, since we have the dumpster is here it only makes sense to clear off the dilapidated eyesore/backporch roof structure as well.  It's probably a little bit of a safety hazard sooooo.  There you go!  It's coming down.  I don't think it will be that bad but I might have added a little extra work with dumpster placement in regards to back porch roof removal and basement clean out.  Regardless we will be clearing out some trash and debris that has been cluttering up our space.  Cluttered house, cluttered mind?
