Well, I'm happy to report that everything's finally coming together in the kitchen! We picked up our new kitchen sink yesterday, and Shannon purchased our faucet a few weeks back (after he had a dream that it sold out ;) this is our life now). They're both gorgeous, and they were the last details to take care of in the kitchen. Shannon also picked up some of the parts for the base cabinets yesterday. While he insists the kitchen will be a surprise, we have picked out all the colors, appliances, and accessories together. So we'll see what he's got up his sleeve ;) Hint: It must involve configuration of base cabinets.
Here are the deets:
The Moen faucet is the Mediterranean bronze one-handle high arc pull-down (available at Lowe's), and it will contrast nicely with the white porcelain sink, and pick up the slate colored countertops. I'm loving the farmhouse sink look, and we found this baby at Ikea. Isn't it great? It's the domsjo double sink in white porcelain. Apparently it's sold out in several cities, so we're very fortunate they had it in stock at Atlantic Station. Can't wait to see everything in place!
